Over a dozen awards for his service at arizona house of representatives

2022 women’s health champion/legislator of the year

SEPTEMBER 27, 2023

I am thrilled to share that I've been awarded the 2023 Pamela P. Bensen Trailblazer Award! This recognition is a true honor, and I'm deeply grateful for the acknowledgment of my efforts.

The Pamela P. Bensen Trailblazer Award is a symbol of our commitment to emergency medicine and adapting to the growth of our industry. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the organization for recognizing my work in representing our community.

Balancing my role as an emergency department physician and legislator has never stopped me from connecting with our constituents. I've visited over 15,000 households through our unique door-to-door campaigning and maintained these connections through regular communication.

Through this grassroots work, I've identified many of our legislative priorities. I'm proud to share that I've had more bills signed into law than any other member of my party in over a decade.

This achievement is a result of our collective efforts, and I believe in finding common ground across party lines to improve lives.

This award is not just for me but for our entire community. Thank you for your trust, support, and partnership. Together, we can achieve even more.
